Some information from wikipedia first:

Google China was founded in 2005 and is headed by Kai-Fu Lee, formerly a Microsoft executive and the founder in 1998 of Microsoft Research Asia. Microsoft sued Google and Kai-Fu Lee for the move but reached a confidential settlement. The office was initially located at NCL Tower and later moved to Tsinghua Science Park in early 2006. The newest office has been in use since September 2006, and is also located in Tsinghua Science Park, near the south gate of Tsinghua University.

Many of you know that BaiDu is the most popular SE in China, but I think you don't know that many young guys in China don't like BaiDu absolutely~ so Why??

In their minds, Baidu is just a Internet Pirate in China. Yahoo, Sogou, 163... all lose the bell in the SE battle with Baidu, so now he can do everything he want.

If you search some hot keywords is Baidu, the first page is all the PPC advertisors, all fake informations. If you want to find some useful info, you should click to the next page first! Want to find some sensetive or adult or porn informations? sorry, please use Google! If you got a high rank naturally, the editor will delete your site or put your site to bottom, even 100pages later, and then call you to buy the rank again! Baidu can delete sites with no reason, ban sites as long as he want! Only money, if you have money, you can be the NO1 in Baidu, if no, only I can say is: Hope You Good Luck!

So they use Google. Yes, Google is the greatest SE on the internet,  they can find any real information they want on Google, they can get a high rank on Google with their skill and hard work, Google give them all!  But, this is only in first one year, Google China is a real Google network! And now, Google China is dead, for the government policy!

In 2007, If a China people tyle "google.com" in browser, it will redirect to "google.cn" automatically! then, type some keywords and click "search", what you got is the same result with Baidu, a list with Chinese characteristics, harmonious society or money  society, no dishamonic news, no adult topics, only advertisments or spam informations! Need these kind of info? Please use Google In English! Need high rank in Google China? It's very simple, spam, spam and spam! and the Google will be yours!

Google China is not a real Google now! It's just a servile tool of the government!
